Approach

APPROACH

There are a number of elements that help to create
eye-catching representations. A great shot requires more
than being well lit and in focus. The subject's essence must
be captured in order to be truly effective.

I avoid generic and formulaic setups. Our goal is to create
an original and unique image of you.

I am a good director. We will work together as a team to
explore different expressions, poses and characters. I will
give you plenty of feedback and communicate exactly what
I am seeing so we can achieve the desired shots together.

A captivating and confident image makes the viewer want
to know more about you. Your eyes should be the first thing
they look at. I strive to create an immediate connection
through your eyes into who you are and what you have to
offer as a talent. A great image is also individualistic and
capable of expressing your unique qualities.

METHOD

My method is simple. I work with each individual according to
his/her strengths and unique character. I plan plenty of time
to do each session. That way, we won't feel rushed and can
get the most out of each look. I create different lighting setups
for each of your looks so that your portfolio shows range and
represents you well.

I see a huge part of what I do as directing. I oversee your
wardrobe as well as the overall art direction
of each look. I believe a successful image can only be created
if you pay attention to all elements.

PROCESS

I take many shots for each look/outfit change, and I later
review the session and delete any unusable shots. I then
organize the images into a private, Web Proof Gallery that
can be accessed online for 30 days. The Web Proof Gallery
makes sharing images convenient. You will see about 20 to
30 good images from each look we do.

Then, you select your strongest images for me to retouch.
It takes 5 business days to work on your shots. Finally, I will
mail you the included images in high resolution (print quality)
in a CD.

CONSULTATION

A phone consultation is scheduled after a shoot date is
confirmed. We will get to know each other better, and we
will discuss each look in detail. I will explain my working
process, answer any questions and address any specific
needs you might have.

It's not necessary but I am happy to meet with you for a
free, in-studio consultation if you would like to meet in
person and say hi. An in-studio consultation generally
lasts 30 minutes.

Before scheduled consultation, please email the following:

-A few of your older shots in LOW RES only. Or a link to
your online portfolio.
-Models should include their measurements.
