1. to bind or obligate, as by pledge or assurance; pledge: to commit oneself to a promise; to be committed to a course of action.
Our world is dependent on its inhabitants, we have to be more proactive to helping our neighbors and those less fortunate.

We can be better at helping others if we commit to something bigger than our problems. Together we can make a difference.
