martial arts & fitness

As stories go this one is fairly simple. In 2005 my Sensei decided to move on & the opportunity presented itself to take over the school. I did so trying to maintain multiple roles as student, instructor and owner.

We were unique in Rockland County, a school where you can box, take karate, kickbox and more! We didn't get caught up in the commercialism nor did we cater to one specific crowd.

I saw the changes in the economy and the way martial arts and fitness was offered way before it became problematic. There are too many commercial martial art programs. The world is about trends and if your a follower than you will get in line and blend in with the crowd.

I relocated the school several years later to put myself in a better position and to focus on the clients development more personally.

My goals have always been to teach real martial arts and fitness. No babysitting and handing out belts like candy. No franchise programs just real self defense!

I like my fitness clients to sweat and see results, I like them to make improvements monthly. Regardless of age, gender or race I manage to keep a diverse crowd that is like a family. I enjoy seeing people progress and make positive changes in their life.

I have proudly been able to teach, grow and develop as a person with my clients and students and continue to do so. Without the constraints and bullsh*t that flood the industry.
